Recreational Coaching

Recreational Coaches play a critical role in society. Surveys suggest that coaches are among the top three influential people in a child’s life. In adult sports, athletes are often varied in their goals, skills, fitness and abilities. Recreational adult athletes often require guidance as their experience with the sport can be very limited.

Arguably, a recreational coach is a more demanding job than a professional coach. Regardless of the demands, the rewards can far outweigh the stress. The feeling of joy and excitement that washes over you when an athlete experiences that “A-HA!” moment is worth it.
